Non CDL- Local Route Driver- Portland, ME

About the role

A full-time, local route, non-CDL driver position based in Portland, ME with a 4:00 AM start Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, moving material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Make local deliveries in a company truck as needed.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock checks.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and coworkers.
• Acquire a working knowledge of the Eclipse software support system.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean motor-vehicle record for the past five years.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
• Strong math and reading skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse picking and packing processes.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to communicate effectively.
