About the role
Non CDL Truck Driver w/Medical Card - FT $20 Per Hour - Benefits. TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Blacksburg, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Local home daily routes
Pay
- $20 Per hour + OT and Benefits
Requirements
- License: Non CDL with Medical Card
- Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must have Real ID Drivers License
- No prior traffic violations or license suspensions for 1 year
- Handling: Touch - able to lift up to 50 Lb on regular basis; up to 70 lbs occasionally
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport 26' Box Truck equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including touch freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
