Non-CDL Driver

As a Part Time School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to safely bring students home.

About the role

• Split shift: early morning before-school pickup and after-school drop-off with a few free hours in between
• Guaranteed 4.5 hours per school day; no nights or weekends unless you choose to work them
• Additional hours available through trips and charters when offered

Pay

• Starting wage: $73.76 per day
• $500 sign-on bonus (conditions apply; offer expires 12/31/26)
• Safety and attendance bonus: earn an additional $2 per day

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive role
• DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason
