Responsibilities

• Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications, and equipment handling.
• Ensure flights are always catered for correctly.
• Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ) per TSA regulations and, more specifically, 49 CFR1542.209).
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Airbrake endorsement required.
• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.
• Most duties are performed outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.
• Must be able to regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Flexible scheduling availability, accommodating various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring communication is clear and understood by co-workers.

Pay

$22.53 hourly
