Non CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

This position is responsible for driving trucks over established routes to safely and efficiently deliver products and render services within a specific geographic territory, typically completed within a single shift.

Responsibilities

• Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts.
• Load and/or unload products at various locations, including perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods.
• Deliver products and inform customers of new products or services, issue sales promotion materials, and resolve customer complaints.
• Record information on daily sales/delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon pickup/delivery.
• Comply with company policies and Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a current Driver’s License and a clean driving record for the past 39 months.
• Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as demanded by the department.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
