Duties and Responsibilities
- In our warehouse, pulls assigned orders, has orders double checked for accuracy
- Safely perform loads order on vehicle for delivery, safely drives route
- Upon arrival at destination unloads product
- After returning from deliveries turns in paperwork
- Responsible for complying with all DOT, OSHA, and Grabber Safety Standards
- Responsible for monitoring vehicle condition and reporting service needs to the Branch Operations Manager
- Provides support to Warehouse and Sales Team
- Interacts with customers and Branch staff during deliveries
- Delivers product on a company vehicle as assigned
- Secondary responsibility is to back-up and support operations in our warehouse. May be asked to operate a forklift (after completing training)
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License, Clean Driving Record
- Physical ability - Lift and carry capabilities 50 lbs in warehouse for loading
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Supplemental Driver Application with consent to contact previous employers regarding any out-of-service violations, misuse of controlled substances or alcohol, and accident history
- Criminal Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Test
- Authorization to order a current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- DOT Medical Exam
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Familiarity with using navigation systems
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English to follow safety instructions, operational procedures, and engage with customers.
Work Conditions
- Long periods of driving and sitting in delivery vehicle
- Warehouse and outside
- Use of warehouse equipment and vehicles
- Lifting capabilities 40lbs
- Directly with customers
