Duties and Responsibilities

  • In our warehouse, pulls assigned orders, has orders double checked for accuracy
  • Safely perform loads order on vehicle for delivery, safely drives route
  • Upon arrival at destination unloads product
  • After returning from deliveries turns in paperwork
  • Responsible for complying with all DOT, OSHA, and Grabber Safety Standards
  • Responsible for monitoring vehicle condition and reporting service needs to the Branch Operations Manager
  • Provides support to Warehouse and Sales Team
  • Interacts with customers and Branch staff during deliveries
  • Delivers product on a company vehicle as assigned
  • Secondary responsibility is to back-up and support operations in our warehouse. May be asked to operate a forklift (after completing training)
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License, Clean Driving Record
  • Physical ability - Lift and carry capabilities 50 lbs in warehouse for loading

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Supplemental Driver Application with consent to contact previous employers regarding any out-of-service violations, misuse of controlled substances or alcohol, and accident history
  • Criminal Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Test
  • Authorization to order a current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • DOT Medical Exam

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Familiarity with using navigation systems
  • Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English to follow safety instructions, operational procedures, and engage with customers.

Work Conditions

  • Long periods of driving and sitting in delivery vehicle
  • Warehouse and outside
  • Use of warehouse equipment and vehicles
  • Lifting capabilities 40lbs
  • Directly with customers
