Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $245,000 - $287,000

About the Role

The Division of Hospital Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center currently seeks a full-time Nocturnist. The successful candidate will be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics. Consideration will be given to both experienced physicians and graduating residents/fellows.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and non-teaching shifts
• Variable schedule depending on service

Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
• Experience as a Nocturnist preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Interest in academic medicine and teaching
