About the role

The Nocturnist Physician will provide high-quality inpatient medical management for hospitalized patients, perform admissions and care coordination, collaborate with specialists, nursing, case management, and ancillary teams, ensure timely documentation and communication, participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, and contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient medical management for hospitalized patients
• Perform admissions and care coordination
• Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing, case management, and ancillary teams
• Ensure timely documentation and communication with patients, families, and referring providers
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain CT Medical License

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain CT Medical License
• BE/BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Skills

• Ability to deliver high-quality inpatient care
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Experience with inpatient medical management
• Knowledge of hospital medicine and interdisciplinary care
