About the role

The Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician will join Piedmont-Newton Medical Center in Covington, GA. The position is a full-time, 12-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients in the hospital setting, focusing on those who require overnight monitoring.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize electronic health records (EPIC) for documentation and communication.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
• Experience in hospital medicine preferred.
