Nocturnist -Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (Assistant Professor)

Summary

Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is seeking full-time Nocturnists to provide Hospital Medicine services at CHI St. Luke's Hospital. The ideal candidates are patient-centered, and committed to excellence in providing quality care in an inpatient setting. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal or Family Medicine.

Job Duties

• Positions are clinical with direct inpatient care on a 7 on/ 14 off block schedule.
• Provide medical care to adults in the inpatient care setting.
• Participate in any team meetings. Work with the team to develop the appropriate order sets and procedures that are needed.
• Contribute to quality improvement and research projects. Collaborate nationally with known leaders in the field. Keep up with continuing medical education as per college and section requirements.
• Renewing and meeting all required licenses and certification requirements.
• Complete all documentation in a timely manner so that billing and other administrative tasks can happen smoothly to ensure a robust operational system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education Requirement: MD, DO;
• Licensure Requirement: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
