About the role
Our company is a SaaS startup that supports ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) transformation for enterprise clients. We have been receiving numerous inquiries since 2022, and our product is now being adopted by major Japanese companies such as those listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies and manage the entire recruitment process across all departments (including engineers and business roles).
- Manage KPIs for recruitment, oversee the recruitment team and external partners.
- Design and train interviewers, improve the candidate experience (CX).
- Implement and improve evaluation systems and compensation programs, and promote organizational development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and VP of Engineering to advance organizational surveys, 1on1 sessions, and cultural initiatives.
- Expand responsibilities to cover HR functions such as talent management, and potentially take on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Requirements
- Experience in developing and executing recruitment strategies and managing the entire recruitment process, including 5+ years of HR experience.
- Experience in HR domains beyond recruitment (evaluation system operations, organizational development, compensation planning), including direct collaboration with senior leadership.
- At least 3 years of experience in member management.
Qualifications
- Experience in developing recruitment strategies and implementing these strategies in startups or growing companies.
- Experience in engineering recruitment, including targeting, requirement design, and scout strategies.
- Experience in English communication for business purposes (reading, writing, and interview conduct).
- Experience in talent development, including 1on1 sessions and onboarding programs.
- A strong desire to become a CHRO and lead the organization from an HR perspective.
