NMR - Self-Employed Milk Recorder - Mid-Kent/ Sevenoaks area

About the role

National Milk Records (NMR) supports the UK dairy industry by providing essential services such as milk testing, recording, and data insights. As a Self‑Employed Milk Recorder you will visit dairy farms in the Mid‑Kent/Sevenoaks area, collect individual cow milk samples and update computerised records throughout the year. The data you collect enables NMR to deliver detailed reports that help farmers monitor herd health, improve milk quality, and boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Visit dairy farms to collect milk samples and record cow milk yields.
• Work directly with farmers and dairy herds.
• Enter herd and production data using NMR software.
• Follow farm bio‑security procedures.
• Travel between farms within the designated area.

Pay

Payment is based on herd size, calculated on a per‑cow basis. Details will be discussed before you are allocated to a farm.
