NMDA Inspector Intermediate - Possible Career Development Opportunity

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with the petroleum industry to establish regulatory compliance.
• Inspection activities of fuel quality sampling, small volume, large volume, and LPG meter inspections based out of Dona Ana County (Southwest New Mexico).
• Developing relationships with industry, training and field reference materials.
• Working with other inspectors throughout the state to gain knowledge on all inspection procedures.
• Addressing equipment needs to ensure a safe work environment for all area staff.
• Participating in weights and measures events.
• Completing device inspections by maintaining an inspection area and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resource Services.
