What You'll Do

  • Engage students in hands-on clinical skills training, case-based learning, and lectures
  • Guide future physicians through physical exams, SOAP notes, and patient interviewing
  • Play a key role in curriculum development and innovation
  • Provide mentorship and career advising, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary faculty team to enhance student learning experiences
  • Assess student progress, ensuring high standards of medical education
  • Optional: Pursue limited clinical work, maintaining real-world experience while teaching

Must-Have Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree with completed residency
  • Board-certified or board-eligible (within two years of residency completion)
  • Passion for medical education, mentorship, and student success
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialty in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Experience in pre-clinical teaching, curriculum development, or medical simulation
  • Interest in innovative educational methodologies and course design
  • Prior academic leadership experience is a plus

Work Schedule

Typically, Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. May occasionally require evenings and weekends.
