About the role
The NJC Assistant Wrestling Coach position is responsible for supporting the head coach in all aspects of the wrestling program, including training, competition preparation, and team management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of the wrestling training regimen
- Support the head coach in recruiting and retaining student-athletes
- Work closely with the team to improve performance and achieve athletic goals
- Attend and participate in team meetings and practices
- Manage team equipment and facilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field
- Experience coaching wrestling at the high school or collegiate level
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Experience with strength and conditioning programs
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
$30,000 annually
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
