This role is part of the NJ4S Compass program in Monmouth County.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical services both in person and virtually to students within the HUB vicinage, including trauma-informed screening, brief interventions, and facilitation of treatment referrals.
  • Delivers Tier 3 clinical services such as clinical assessment, suicide and substance use screening, service planning, ongoing clinical interventions, and linkages to outside services.
  • Offers consultation to school staff and parents on topics including suicide, eating disorders, and school refusal.
  • Completes all paperwork and data entry within prescribed timeframes and assists with prevention programming as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Counseling, or related field (PhD considered).
  • Licensure: LCSW or LPC required.
  • Experience: Three years of relevant experience providing therapy to children.
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Other: Valid New Jersey driver’s license, safe driving record, and fingerprinting per DCF regulations.

Skills

  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with Excel, Word, and professional electronic record-keeping portals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with organizational policies and procedures.
