Responsibilities
- Enhance care for children with central nervous system tumors through a twinning program with KHCC and the Hospital for Sick Children.
- Contribute to the ethical oversight of clinical research as a member of KHCC’s Institutional Review Board.
- Focus on research in pediatric brain tumors, particularly the prognostic value of molecular subgroups in medulloblastoma.
Qualifications
- Earned medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology’s Faculty of Medicine in 2001.
- Completed pediatric residency at King Abdullah University Hospital in 2006.
- Completed pediatric oncology fellowship at King Hussein Cancer Center in 2011.
- Holds multiple board certifications, including the Jordanian Board of Pediatrics, the Arab Board of Pediatrics, and the Jordanian Board of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
- Completed specialized training in pediatric neuro-oncology at the University of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.
