Nighttime Babysitter for Toddler

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and caring nighttime babysitter to watch over our 2‑year‑old son while he sleeps. The shift is on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 11:30 PM to 3:30 AM in New Orleans, LA. Our home has two large dogs (a 14‑year‑old lab mix and a 7‑year‑old boxer mix) that will be present but do not require care; they may bark when meeting a new person but are friendly and will likely stay quiet. No feeding, bathing, bedtime, or driving duties are required as the child will already be in bed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the sleeping toddler and ensure his safety throughout the night.
• Remain alert and responsive to any needs of the child.
• Be comfortable around the two large dogs and manage any initial barking.
• No additional tasks such as feeding, bathing, or bedtime routines are required.

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual for the overnight shift.
• Comfortable working in a home with dogs.
• Ability to stay awake and attentive during the night.
