About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable nighttime babysitter to care for our two children—a 1-year-old boy and a 4-month-old boy—in Ruston, LA.
Schedule
Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the 1-year-old toddler is ready for bed and comfort him to sleep.
- Attend to the 4-month-old if he wakes, providing a bottle as needed (he should mostly remain asleep).
- Engage the toddler if he resists sleep, while allowing for independent play when appropriate.
- Relax and watch TV during quieter moments.
- Assist with bedtime routines (no driving, feeding outside of bottles, or bathing required).
Household details
We have two dogs and two cats, who are low-maintenance and should not require attention.
Requirements
- Nurturing demeanor and experience with infants and toddlers.
