Night Warehouse Trainee

Position Summary And Responsibilities

The Freezer Warehouse Trainee position is a full-time, entry level position. Trainees will learn aspects of warehousing through formal training and/or on the job experience. They will also learn to operate material handling equipment such as mid-rider pallet jacks and forklifts. Select customer orders using electronic technology and physical product handling. Load and unload product from transportation equipment. Safely operate material handling equipment. Repetitively lifting and stacking product. Working until the job is complete. Must be able to work night schedule. 5 days on/2 days off. Sunday - Friday 1 day midweek + Saturdays OFF. No official end time. The shift ends when all the work is complete. Be prepared to work (+)10-12hr shifts.

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass drug screen and physical exam.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in all temperature zones (including Freezer).
• Ability to work overnights.
• Ability to work through a +10-12 hour shift.
• Must be able to learn the use of electronic technology.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
• Must be able to read numbers and product descriptions.
