Night Warehouse Shipping Manager

About the role

This is a hands-on, working manager position based out of our Kansas City Branch. Reporting to the General Manager, this role supervises a group of warehouse employees and assists in various warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks as necessary to ensure that work is complete and proper usage of available resources.
• Assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise.
• Interview potential new team members and manage a team of warehouse employees.
• Responsible for maintaining a warehouse that is accessible and safe for company personnel and LFF visitors.
• Implement processes and procedures and hold employees accountable to follow them.
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 2-4 years of related experience.
• Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required.
• 3+ years of management experience is preferred.
• Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations and work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing distribution environment.
• Must obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines.
• Must be willing to adjust work schedule as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, to push/pull, lift/carry, or exert force of up to 75 lbs. or more.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing distribution environment.

Pay

$65,000 - $70,000 dependent on experience

Schedule

Days Working: Sunday – Friday
Days Off: Saturday + rotating Wednesday/Friday
Hours Working: 4 PM till complete
