Night Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Night Warehouse Manager oversees the Night Warehouse, supervising and training employees, managing budgets, and maintaining operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Night Warehouse operations
• Interview, hire, train, and manage employees
• Plan, assign, direct, and appraise work
• Address complaints and resolve issues
• Develop and maintain work schedules
• Communicate with Operations Manager and other department managers
• Inspect and evaluate warehouse operations
• Attend supervisory training
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse or related experience in the beverage industry
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, and inventory procedures
• Forklift and pallet jack certification
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift, move, pull, or push items weighing up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs)
• Sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Reach with hands and arms
• Frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Work in varying temperatures, high precarious places, and outside weather conditions
• Occasionally work in noisy environments
