About the role
The Night Warehouse Manager oversees the Night Warehouse, supervising and training employees, managing budgets, and maintaining operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Night Warehouse operations
- Interview, hire, train, and manage employees
- Plan, assign, direct, and appraise work
- Address complaints and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain work schedules
- Communicate with Operations Manager and other department managers
- Inspect and evaluate warehouse operations
- Attend supervisory training
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years old
- Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse or related experience in the beverage industry
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, and inventory procedures
- Forklift and pallet jack certification
- Excellent communication skills
Physical Demands
- Regularly lift, move, pull, or push items weighing up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs)
- Sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Work in varying temperatures, high precarious places, and outside weather conditions
- Occasionally work in noisy environments
