Night Warehouse Forklift Operator

About the role

Operate an industrial forklift to perform material handling assignments. Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading dock. Operate forklift/high-lift to lower stock to ground level pick-level slots from higher level reserve slots during night shift and day shift, and to put received stock in higher level storage slots during the day shift using safe operating practices.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 5:30 pm start time until work is finished. Must be open to working up to 12+ hour shifts when needed.

Pay

Starting at $28.41 per hour, increasing to $31.70 after 6 months of employment. Weekly pay. Overtime compensation may also apply.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallet loads of product from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment, ensuring all pallets are secure to avoid damage or injury.
• Replenish pick slots with product from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selection.
• Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
• Record all product, equipment, and warehouse damage.
• Maintain cleanliness of aisles by removing debris from floors and racks.
• Follow safety policies and practices at all times.

Work Environment

Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees.

Requirements

• Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to understand Voxware commands.
• OSHA-compliant forklift certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior selector experience.
• Prior forklift operator experience.
