Night Transport Driver

About the role

The Driver is responsible for transporting finished goods or raw materials between facilities as well as connecting and disconnecting trailers at destination. You will complete pre- and post-trip inspections and verify load and seal numbers. This role maintains Department of Transportation time log, bill of lading and other paperwork as required. The Driver maintains vehicle, product and equipment to company standards level. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Transporting finished goods or raw materials between facilities
• Connecting and disconnecting trailers at destination
• Completing pre- and post-trip inspections
• Verifying load and seal numbers
• Maintaining Department of Transportation time log, bill of lading and other paperwork
• Maintaining vehicle, product and equipment to company standards level
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Physical Demands

Position requires physical exertion including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping.

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Shift: Full-time, Monday - Friday with a 5:00pm - 7:00pm start time
