About the role

This role is responsible for displaying and stocking products, ensuring the financial health of the store, and adhering to guest experience, safety, and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays on the sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Show familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know their product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
• Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Safety, and Food Safety Guidelines.
• Comply with Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma (GED) is preferred.
• Previous retail or related experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements

• May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise levels in the work environment that are usually low to moderate.
