Night Shift Warehouse Lead

Job Description

The Warehouse Lead, reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, supports the management of the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision. Responsibilities include:

• Direct warehouse personnel as necessary
• Perform all warehouse functions effectively
• Aid with VMI Programs as needed
• Unload incoming inventory from trucks
• Stock inventory into shelf locations
• Pick inventory for shipment to customers or vendors
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Research missing parts to find current locations
• Operate forklift equipment
• Maintain order release accuracy
• Ensure product quality
• Consolidate inventory to optimize storage space
• Coordinate with other department leads for coordinated warehouse activities
• Train new employees
• Coordinate returns with Purchasing and Quality Control departments

Professional Experience Requirements

• Educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 3 to 5 years warehouse experience, certified forklift driver, working knowledge of OSHA regulations, working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Skills: Strong work ethic, experience leading a team, excellent written and verbal communication, oral comprehension, ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, read and interpret documents, follow procedures, and document information, experience in a quick-paced production environment, troubleshooting and taking corrective action to resolve problems, experience with an automated Warehouse Management System

Shift Hours

Full-time, in-person, Night Shift, Monday-Thursday, 8:30PM-6:30AM, West Chester, OH
