About the role
The Night Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician III is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, digital control systems, mechanical systems, instrumentation, and pumps. They must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a sense of urgency, and experience with Allen Bradley products and core facility equipment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate routine preventive maintenance scheduling and documentation
- Support operations and communicate repair progress and status
- Identify and correct process problems
- Train new technicians and oversee technician training
- Interact with vendors and contractors for project repairs
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical control systems
- Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pumps
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints
- Use tools ranging from hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices
- Initiate Management of Change (MOC) per requirements
- Maintain compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security regulations
- Travel frequently up and down stairs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
- Experience with Allen Bradley products and core facility equipment
- Capable of troubleshooting complex systems and equipment
- Knowledge of hazardous waste management and regulatory compliance
Skills
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and blueprints
- Using precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices
