Night Shift Sanitation Team Member

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all repack equipment after use, ensuring it is ready-to-run.
• Clean and maintain the cold room, scale mezzanine, and packaging room in an organized condition.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), fall prevention, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and sanitation chemical handling.
• Disassemble/assemble packaging equipment as needed.
• Use all sanitation chemicals safely and effectively.
• Store all tools and utensils in designated areas.
• Communicate any mechanical issues to the Repack Sani Lead and/or maintenance staff.
• Complete all required documentation in a proper manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of how machinery is assembled and disassembled.
• Knowledge of cleaning requirements and use of sanitation chemicals.
• Knowledge of use of PPE, LOTO, fall prevention, and other safety programs.
• Essential physical abilities: must be able to move around machinery including climbing, squatting, reaching, and walking throughout the shift; must be able to work with chemicals; must be able to lift between 40-50 pounds; must be available to work while performing the duties of this job.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs., and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
