Night Shift Material Handler

About the role

Successfully move material through the facility, perform computer data entry, complete and process paperwork, and conduct material audits.

Responsibilities

• Move material through the facility using material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, walkie rider).
• Use the computer to dispense and receive information such as product codes, part numbers, quantities, locations, and comments.
• Complete paperwork to properly document work performed.
• Scan each load to proper locations.
• Conduct material audits.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping materials.

All essential functions require the ability to be mobile in an industrial environment, communicate effectively, and organize tasks with varying degrees of independence, judgment, and discretion.

Requirements

• GED or high school diploma.
• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated skills in teamwork, planning and organizing, initiative, adaptability, communication, and the ability to learn.
