Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) $10,000 sign-on bonus

About the role

Oak Park Care Center seeks compassionate and thoughtful Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. We partner with skilled nursing centers to support a small but dedicated group of professionals with the resources of a larger enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• Provides services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Sets up nursing care assignments based on resident needs and team member capabilities
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents treatments as required
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is clean and maintained safely
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN school of nursing
• Valid LPN license
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Valid CPR certification
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Effective communication skills with residents and their families, and within the organization
• Decisive reaction to emergencies
• Maintains confidentiality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
