About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient-centered care in various units including ICU, NICU, and acute care floors.
Responsibilities
- Support supervision of shift activities, ensuring efficient staffing, assignments, and resource allocation.
- Act as an expert during assigned shifts, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Serve as a role model, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused environment.
- Deliver high-quality patient care and uphold safety standards across all patient care settings.
- Assist with preceptor tasks and support patient care workload.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
- Minimum two years of clinical respiratory care experience in adult ICU, NICU, and other settings.
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and active state licensure in Georgia.
- Proficiency in managing various ventilators and respiratory equipment, with ability to support deliveries and blood gases.
- Ability to ramp up NICU skills if limited NICU experience.
