Night Shift Fuel Tanker Driver

Role Overview

This position involves safely operating company trucks to load and deliver fuel and commodities to retail locations and third-party customers. It requires maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including federal, state, local, and company rules related to hazardous cargo transport. The driver must complete electronic logs, handle documentation, and communicate with logistics as needed. Professional conduct and customer service are essential in interactions with clients, vendors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Drive defensively and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Load, unload, and deliver hazardous materials safely.
• Follow proper procedures for cargo handling and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Coordinate with logistics and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years of over-the-road driving experience or certification from an accredited driving school.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with HazMat, Tanker, and other endorsements.
• Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, drive up to 11 hours, and handle physical demands such as lifting and climbing.
• Must meet age, language, and health requirements per federal regulations.

Key Demands

Must possess manual dexterity, good sensory functions, and physical capability for vehicle inspections, cargo handling, and extended driving periods. Must be able to operate equipment, handle heavy items, and perform vehicle safety checks as needed.
