Night Shift Drum Operator

Responsibilities

• Administration of chemicals and monitoring of drums and process, while maintaining the highest attainable quality of hide.
• Drum Processing
• Performing hide quality audits
• Proper chemical handling
• Computer Operation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English
• Clean-shaven is advised for personal safety purposes due to position requiring use of respiratory equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willing to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends
• Willing to lift at least 55 pounds
• Willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment
• Have computing and mathematical skills
• The ability to distinguish color, color coded buckets for chemicals
• The ability to go up and down stairs
• Be a team player
• Chemical and QA/Lab Background is preferred but not required
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
