Night Shift Charge Nurse (LPN)

Scenic Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team on the night shift. About the role

As a Night Shift LPN, you'll provide exceptional resident care, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and help ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care throughout the night.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Long-Term Care (LTC) setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders
• Assess residents and promptly report changes in condition
• Monitor resident health status and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Assist with resident care planning and implementation
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and regulations

Requirements

• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Missouri (Required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred, but not required

Schedule

Consistent 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)

This is a permanent, on-site position located in Herculaneum, Missouri. This is not a travel nursing or contract position.
