TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia.
About the Role
The clinician hired for this role will work a night shift schedule from 6pm - 6am at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, a 350-bed full-service hospital.
- Level II trauma center
- Certified Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center
- EMR: Meditech
- 7-on, 7-off block schedule model
- No solo clinician coverage required
- Closed ICU: 20-bed
Typical nocturnist responsibilities include admissions, cross coverage, and medical consults for burn patients. The average number of admissions on the night shift is between 6-8. The hospital medicine team responds to Medical Response Team (MRT) and codes.
