Night Shift - 4:45p - 5:00a- Quality Control Technician

Tekni-Plex Consumer Products Division – Van Wert, OH (newly built manufacturing plant for molded pulp consumer products)

Schedule

Rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule; training Monday–Friday, night shift 4:45 PM – 5:00 AM.

Pay

Entry rate $19/hour plus $1/hour shift premium. Competitive wage depending on specialized skillset and level of experience.

About the role

Quality Technicians conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of fiber egg cartons, perform audits, enter quality data into the database, train production equipment operators to recognize high‑quality product versus defects, and help ensure compliance with food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks and audits throughout the manufacturing process
• Enter quality data into the database
• Train production equipment operators on quality recognition (high‑quality product vs. defects)
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements (GMPs, HACCP)

Requirements

• At least one year of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Experience training others and entering data into a database (strongly preferred)
• Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP (a plus)
