Night Order Selector (Part Time)

About the role

This position is a critical support role for the Warehouse Team. The Order Selector will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders.
• Safely operate electric pallet jack in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Select and palletize products using Vo collect technology.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
• Work in various warehouse environments including freezer, cooler, and dry.
• Follow selection direction through headset (Voice Pick & Pick Label).
• Other duties and special projects as requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Order Selecting: 1 Year (Preferred).
• Electric Pallet Jack: 1 Year (Preferred).
• Ability to meet deadlines and case-per-hour requirements.
• Ability to listen, understand, and respond to instruction.
• Ability to operate within Standard Operating Procedures and follow OSHA guidelines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work on your feet for 8-12 hours daily.
• Ability to frequently lift 15-55 pounds.
• Work overtime as required.

Working Conditions

• Sunday to Thursday schedule, beginning at 3pm until work is completed.
• Cold Storage Warehouse environment; 90% of work done in sub-zero freezer temperatures.
• May require walking primarily on a level surface for extended periods.
• Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required.
• Proper lifting techniques required; may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.
