Night Forklift Operator
About the Role
Responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate, and stack merchandise. Duties include pulling and staging orders for delivery, unloading inbound shipments, loading outbound shipments, and moving products to dispersing trailers. Ensures safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and maintains facility equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate, and stack merchandise
- Pull and stage orders for delivery
- Unload inbound shipments and load outbound shipments
- Move products to dispersing trailers
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of the forklift
- Keep facility equipment neat, clean, and orderly
- Follow clearly defined standard operating procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Take direction and work under close supervision
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Certification may be preferred

- Frequently sit, walk, stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls
- Frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
- Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to temperature and humidity changes
- Tolerate moderate to high noise levels
- Work weekends, holidays, days, and night hours as assigned
- Work 8-10 hour shifts as assigned
