Night Foreman for Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Crew

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the overnight department, ensuring adherence to standards of excellence, employee handbook guidelines, policies, and procedures; coaching, training, and correcting where needed.
• Direct and oversee all operations during the night shift to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Assist in conducting briefings for all staff during the night shift.
• Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
• Manage the night shift route, ensuring all employees perform assigned tasks and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Assist overnight crew with exhaust cleaning tasks as needed (e.g., power washing, scraping, wiping down equipment, vacuuming, climbing ladders, hinging fans, covering kitchen equipment in plastic).
• Actively participate in decision-making processes when issues arise to ensure seamless service.
• Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving ability, staff training, and team-leading skills.
• Be aware of and able to enforce all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management responsibility.
• Hood cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Previous experience working nights is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
• Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs. a minimum of 100 feet.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work fast and efficiently.
