Location: Fort Hood, Texas
Shift: Nighttime - 7:00pm through 12:30am
About the Role
We’re hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. No prior experience is required—we’ll train you and ensure you feel confident every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Check in with your supervisor and teammates to review the daily cleaning plan.
- Gather and load cleaning supplies (mops, brooms, vacuums, disinfectants, etc.).
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Taking out trash and replacing liners.
- Cleaning restrooms, refilling supplies, and wiping down surfaces (tables, chairs, doors, etc.).
- Dusting furniture, shelves, and vents.
- Wiping windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
- Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure cleanliness before ending your shift.
- Return tools and supplies to storage at the end of the shift.

Physical & Environmental Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies weighing up to 25-30 pounds regularly.
- Navigating stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring while carrying tools or supplies.
- Work is primarily indoors in commercial buildings with varying temperature and lighting conditions.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents (training and PPE provided).
- Possible exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, and biohazardous materials (safety protocols and PPE in place).
- Working in confined or awkward spaces (e.g., under sinks, behind furniture).
- Noise from cleaning machinery (hearing protection provided when necessary).
