Night Crew Stocker

About the Role

A Day In The Life As a Stocker is centered around keeping shelves filled and the store ready for customers. During daytime hours you’ll work on the floor stocking products, organizing shelves, and assisting customers with questions or locating items. Overnight shifts focus on preparing the store for the next day by working through deliveries, stocking shelves, and resetting displays without customer traffic. The role also involves maintaining organization behind the scenes—moving products from the backroom to the sales floor, rotating inventory, and keeping aisles clear and easy to shop. Between handling freight, restocking shelves, and keeping work areas clean, the work stays steady, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys physical tasks and a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock products on shelves and maintain display standards.
• Organize shelves and assist customers with locating items or answering questions.
• Prepare the store for the next day during overnight shifts by processing deliveries and resetting displays.
• Move products from the backroom to the sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Keep aisles clear, maintain clean work areas, and ensure a tidy shopping environment.
• Handle freight, restock shelves, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Operate pallet jacks, box cutters, and other store equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies, safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.
• Customer interaction skills: clear communication when assisting customers.
• Stocking & merchandising: accurate product placement and display maintenance.
• Product knowledge: familiarity with store layout, product locations, and pricing.
• Attention to detail: accuracy in stocking, rotation, labeling, and removing outdated products.
• Organization & time management: efficient workload handling while keeping areas clean and organized.
• Equipment use: operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and store equipment safely.
• Inventory awareness: monitoring stock levels and maintaining backroom organization.
• Operational awareness: following company policies, safety procedures, and stocking processes.
• Adaptability: comfort working varied shifts.
• Physical capability: frequent lifting, carrying, and movement, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
