Night Crew Clerk

Essential Job Functions

• Aid in unloading merchandise.
• Transport stock to storage areas.
• Price items accurately if necessary.
• Keep shelves stocked according to tag allocations.
• Build store displays.
• Rotate perishable merchandise and remove out-of-code products.
• Control damaged goods.
• Present assigned sections neatly before leaving at the end of the shift.
• Observe and enforce departmental policies.
• Greet customers and be observant.
• Maintain a neat appearance following company dress code policy.
• Abide by all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Supplemental Job Functions

• Maintain price and protection programs.
• Perform housekeeping duties in sales and backroom areas.
• Assist with front-end service when required.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise and manage inventory.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in designated areas.
• Capacity to retrieve and place merchandise on top racks in grocery aisles, which may account for 20% of the time.
• Strength to lift up to seventy (70) pounds, with at least forty percent (40%) of the time spent lifting.
• Compliance with written and verbal instructions.

Compensation

$15 - $17 per hour, Sunday rate is $1 premium.
