NICU RRT PRN

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Night Shift (7pm-7am) NICU RRT PRN at Medical City Frisco, part of HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Care for neonatal patients in the NICU
• Provide respiratory therapy services
• Perform advanced cardiac life support
• Administer basic cardiac life support
• Resuscitate neonates
• Manage pediatric advanced life support

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NBRC-RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Certificate in Respiratory Therapy

Qualifications

• Knowledge of neonatal resuscitation techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with respiratory equipment and procedures
