NICU Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

Role Overview

Provides direct patient respiratory care based on physician orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness, and serving as a resource for physicians and nursing staff. Performs assigned duties to support patient health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
• PALS certification required for Emergency Room staff
• No prior experience necessary

Physical Demands & Equipment

• Capable of handling equipment involving push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs., and pinch up to 10 lbs.
• Able to kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
• Utilizes all appropriate respiratory care devices

Preferred Skills

• ACLS certification
• Critical care experience

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapies
• Collaborate with medical team
• Act as a knowledgeable resource to optimize patient outcomes
