NICU Reg Respiratory Therapist - Part Time Nights *Sign On*

About the role

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state licensure requirements.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room, PALS is required.
• Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs; pinching up to 10 lbs; and minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Critical care experience.
