Job Summary
Performs all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, and preparing of product for customer delivery. Maintains the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
Essential Functions
- Accurately and promptly receives and inspects material coming into the facility by vendors, customers, or other warehouses.
- Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.
- Examines incoming shipments and rejects damaged items.
- Prepares and maintains required documentation.
- Prepares receiving reports, reports and records discrepancies in materials, and prepares shipping documentation.
- Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.
- Reviews all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
- Maintains the warehouse in an orderly fashion, including floor, racks, and workstations.

- Ensures warehouse and equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six (6) months of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Ability to identify product size, type, style, and color or product code.
- Proficient reading skills must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
- Demonstrated basic math and reasoning skills.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions.
- Demonstrated general understanding of the warehouse and footprint.
- Ability to operate inventory control equipment (i.e. bar-coding equipment, handheld devices).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to position self to move and/or transfer materials, mail, equipment and/or supplies.
- Ability to inspect and/or surveil materials, equipment, reports, and/or incidents and identify any errors, needs and/or determining factors.
- Ability to position self for inspection, construction or maintenance of equipment and/or buildings including confined, elevated and loud noise spaces.
- Ability to position self to place, construct, and/or maintain equipment and items in designated spaces.
- This includes but is not limited to the ability to work in confined and elevated spaces.
- Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
- Ability to move, transport, and/or deliver items, supplies, or equipment.
