About the role
Nhinja Sushi & Wok we are looking for passionate and energetic Kitchen Staff to join our team! Come roll with us and help bring an unforgettable dining experience to every guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, and wok-based dishes according to restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times
- Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance
- Aid in receiving, storing, and rotating fresh ingredients and inventory
- Support fellow kitchen team members during high-volume service periods
- Monitor food presentation and portion control to meet quality standards
- Aid in opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior kitchen, food prep, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends

Compensation
$13.00 - $14.00 per week

Raising three young boys of our own, we understand the demands on your time and the importance of having a well balanced, nutritious meal.
