About the role

A Scottish cultural celebration of music, dance, athletics, heritage, and more at the 51st New Hampshire Highland Games on September 18-20, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time to work with a neat and clean appearance.
• Greet guests with a smile and carry on appropriate conversations while continuing other duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including decks and patios.
• Understand basic knowledge of state laws and regulations regarding beer, wine, and liquor.
• Card anyone who looks under 30 years of age.
• Cut off alcohol to anyone who becomes intoxicated.
• Help keep the bar stocked.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort, and ensuring the safety of guests and employees.
• Accept diverse assignments while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in all interactions.
• Implement elements of the operation plan that apply to the bar as per the manager’s instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
