About the role

The Graduate Student Research Assistant supports the ULV Office of Institutional Research by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and research tasks related to institutional effectiveness. This role offers valuable professional experience in higher education research while contributing to the university’s mission through data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data analysis and reporting tasks related to institutional effectiveness
• Query relational databases using SQL
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Manage projects independently and collaboratively in a small team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the business, data analytics, computer science, or other related field
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with querying relational databases using SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Mondays through Fridays, 8am-5pm, maximum 20 hours per week.
