NF/Classified MS Cross Country Coed Coach

Responsibilities

Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position.

Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.

• State Law: Keep a concussion Certificate on file every year.
• School Level AD: Keep a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate on file every year.
• TSSAA/TMSAA: Complete "Fundamentals of Coaching" and "First Aid, Health, & Safety" courses when applicable and keep copies on file.
• NEW: Complete "NFHS Heat Illness Prevention" course when applicable and keep a copy on file every year.
• All Coaches must complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
